La Vonia, MI again. The Green Monster caught the 2nd time. It showed up in Akron, OH first. Art Arfons, owner went on to Salt Flats, UT with the Green Monster to set a record. He set other records with new cars after the Green Monster.

Welcome To The Hot Dragsters Of The 1950's
 These are the hot dragsters of the 1957 NHRA sponsored Drag Races in Oklahoma City, OK's four day run over Labor Day weekend.  The sounds you will hear will be sounds of dragsters, coupes and stock cars of the NHRA Safari of 1954. I include this just to bring back the sounds of the 50's . Truly a "Blast From The Past."     It is taken from an old 16mm film - it's scratchy at first but give it time to load and listen to sounds you have never heard before.
